Regular sliced, about 1/16 inch thick, roughly 17 slices per pack, 1 lb. Cured with brown sugar, maple syrup, and natural flavor. The pepper adds a little edge to the sweetness.
Cook in a skillet over medium heat or bake at 400°F for 18–20 minutes. The sugar caramelizes — watch it closely near the end.
5–7 days in the fridge once opened. Vacuum seal and freeze for up to 1 month.
